The recent attack on Tiger Shroff has left the country in shock. As the authorities took swift action by arresting and taking the attackers into custody, chief advisor to the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, Ashoke Pandit, spoke about the need for security for everyone.

Speaking to HT City, Pandit shared his initial feelings after the news broke and said, “Initially toh fear tha. But the government went all out and nabbed the accused in two days. That has proved how seriously the system took it. This increases our confidence. We are all very nice people in the industry; we are artists and performers, we are not violent people. Because the police have arrested them, this will break the resolve of the attackers. The fear of law will build confidence in people.”

Ashoke then spoke about his conversation with Tiger’s father, Jackie Shroff, and added, “He (Jackie) said, ‘God has been kind, everything went off well. The government had reacted tremendously.’ This gave him confidence, and he went out to meet people. Tiger too met some. The authorities had got in touch with them immediately.”

“It is not just about stars, it should be about the security of every individual. Kitne logon ko security denge? It is not practical. Ultimately, effective steps should be taken for the overall security of everyone. Fear ko khatam karna hai,” Ashoke said while speaking about the reports of security cover for stars.

Tiger Shroff’s Shooting Incident – All About It

The firing took place near Pushpa Park in Juhu on Sunday, October 18. The actor had reportedly gone to play football and was returning home when the incident took place. According to initial reports, people had gathered in the area to catch a glimpse of the actor when the assailants allegedly opened fire. The other person injured in the incident was an autorickshaw driver, who was taken to Cooper Hospital. A day after the incident, police reportedly arrested the three unidentified men in Kota.

A new twist emerged in the Tiger Shroff firing case, with Lokmat reporting, citing Mumbai Police sources, that the actor may not have been the assailants’ original target. During preliminary interrogation, the accused allegedly revealed that they had travelled to Mumbai to target another prominent person. However, after reportedly struggling to reach their intended target, they allegedly shifted their focus to Tiger Shroff.

The accused reportedly learned through Instagram reels posted by Tiger Shroff’s fans that the actor did not usually have police security around him, making him an easier target. According to sources, the attackers allegedly planned to kill the actor with the intention of spreading fear in Bollywood.
