A film that opened to just Rs 10 lakh on its first day is now earning praise for its incredible box office run. Hanuman Ansh has crossed Rs 435 crore worldwide, and its success has caught the attention of Sanjay Dutt. The actor recently shared a sweet message for the film’s 21-year-old producer, Anupriya Nagar.

Sanjay took to Instagram to congratulate Anupriya and praised her for backing the film at such a young age. He also promised to support her in her future projects.

Sharing a picture with Anupriya, Sanjay said he was impressed by what she had achieved at just 21. “I’ve seen films come and go, and some make history. But what you’ve achieved for @hanumanansh at just 21 is truly remarkable! @anupriyanagar2709.”

The actor also praised her for bringing people together and helping a small film reach such a large audience. “It takes passion to turn a small film into something so big, and the way you’ve brought people together, with everyone’s blessings, is outstanding!”

Sanjay ended his message by telling the young producer how proud he was of her and assuring her of his support. “God bless you, bachcha. I’m so proud of you and will always stand by you in all your projects. Your story has only just begun.”

Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh is based on his book Divine Detour: That Changed My Life. The film tells the story of Neeb Karori Baba, also known as Neem Karoli Baba, a spiritual teacher and devotee of Lord Hanuman. Shobhinaw Satyaa plays the lead role. His performance has been appreciated for keeping the spiritual figure’s portrayal simple and natural, without over-the-top expressions or dramatic gestures.

When Hanuman Ansh released on August 7, 2026, there was little indication that it would go on to become such a big hit. The film was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 2 crore and earned just Rs 10 lakh on its opening day. After two weeks, its collections stood at around Rs 1.5 crore.

Things began to change in the third week as more people started watching the film after hearing about it from others. Social media conversations and word of mouth helped bring audiences to theatres, and the film slowly picked up pace.

By mid-October, Hanuman Ansh had reportedly earned over Rs 395.83 crore in domestic gross collections. It has become one of India’s biggest hits of 2026, behind Dhurandhar: The Revenge.

The film has now crossed Rs 435 crore worldwide and is nearing Rs 400 crore in India.
