Rakhi Sawant has reacted to reports of social media influencer Faisal Shaikh, popularly known as Mr Faisu, marrying Tanya in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. Speaking to the paparazzi, Rakhi appeared surprised by the news and immediately brought up actress and influencer Jannat Zubair, who has long been linked to Faisu through dating rumours.
Faisu confirmed his nikah on October 10, 2026, by sharing photographs from the ceremony on Instagram. While he did not publicly reveal his wife’s name in the announcement, reports have identified her as Tanya.
Rakhi Sawant Brings Up Jannat Zubair After Faisu’s Wedding
During her interaction with the paparazzi, Rakhi appeared unaware that Faisu had tied the knot.
“Faisu ki shaadi ho gayi?” she asked.
When told about the wedding, Rakhi immediately referred to Jannat and said, “Jannat (Zubair) ke saath hone wali thi.”
After the photographers informed her that Faisu had married Tanya instead, Rakhi responded with one of her trademark cheeky remarks.
“Chalo Jannat toh jannat mein jayegi,” she said, before adding, “Jannat ko aur Faisu mil jayega dusra.”
Rakhi’s comments come against the backdrop of years of speculation surrounding Faisu and Jannat’s relationship. Their frequent collaborations, friendship and on-screen chemistry have repeatedly sparked rumours that the two were dating.
Neither, however, has ever publicly confirmed being in a relationship.
Mr Faisu Had Earlier Denied Dating Jannat Zubair
Faisu addressed the speculation directly in a 2022 interview with The Times of India.
“People assume that we are dating, but that’s not true,” he had said at the time.
He further clarified, “Offscreen, we are great friends. I am single.”
Jannat has also spoken about the rumours surrounding them in the past, but the two have consistently maintained that they share a close friendship rather than a romantic relationship.
Despite those denials, their names continued to be linked over the years, which is why Rakhi’s immediate reference to Jannat after hearing about Faisu’s wedding quickly became the talking point from her paparazzi interaction.
Mr Faisu Confirms Nikah In Madinah
Faisu announced his marriage through a series of pictures from his nikah in Madinah.
Sharing the photographs on Instagram, he wrote, “Alhamdulillah for a dream turned into reality. Nikah in the beautiful city of Madinah, with my entire family by my side. A blessing beyond words.”
He also asked his followers to keep the newly married couple in their prayers as they begin their life together.
Although Faisu did not name his wife in the post, reports have identified her as Tanya. Jansatta reported that the nikahnama mentioned the names Mohammed Mudassir and Nikhat Fatima, with Tanya reportedly being her nickname.
Very little verified information about Faisu’s wife is currently available, as she has largely remained away from public attention.
Reports have also suggested that Faisu and Tanya may host a reception in Mumbai for friends and acquaintances from the industry following their intimate wedding ceremony in Madinah.
