Prince Narula has requested fans to stop making romantic edits featuring him and Karishma Talwar after a recent Roadies Rebirth episode brought the two face-to-face again. Karishma was Prince’s connection during Splitsvilla 8, and their reunion on the reality show prompted several social media users to revisit their old equation through fan-made videos.
Prince, however, has now made it clear that he is uncomfortable with those edits being framed romantically. The reality television star reminded viewers that he is married and has a daughter, while also clarifying that Karishma was never his ex-girlfriend.
Prince Narula Makes ‘Humble Request’ To Fans
Reacting to the edits circulating online, Prince shared a note asking fans to be mindful of his present life.
“Guys it’s a humble request. You guys wanna make edits about me, it’s cool but please remember that I have a wife and daughter,” he wrote.
Prince also said he did not want his daughter to grow up and come across videos that inaccurately portrayed his past equation with Karishma.
“I’m a happily married man and I don’t want my daughter to grow up and watch these meaningless edits,” he added.
While acknowledging the affection viewers continue to have for his reality-show journey, Prince said the edits were creating a misleading impression about what his relationship with Karishma had actually been.
Prince Clarifies Karishma Was Not His Ex-Girlfriend
Prince further addressed posts referring to Karishma as his former girlfriend and said that description was incorrect.
“I’ve had a beautiful journey in the world of reality tv. The audience of Splitsvilla is well aware that she was simply a ‘connection’ in the villa not an ex as is being shown,” he wrote.
Prince and Karishma had been paired as a connection during Splitsvilla 8. Their old association returned to the spotlight after Karishma appeared in the audition round of Roadies Rebirth.
The reunion soon became one of the talking points from the episode, particularly after host Rannvijay Singha brought up their Splitsvilla history.
Karishma Talwar Teases Prince During Roadies Rebirth
During the episode, Rannvijay reminded Prince that he and Karishma had formed a connection on Splitsvilla 8, something Prince acknowledged.
Karishma then jokingly accused him of ditching her because he believed she had “sold” him for Rs 599.
Prince attempted to escape the teasing by quipping, “Guys, I’m only here for this interview. I’ll come back for the next interview!”
The banter continued when Karishma called Prince “sexy”. Neha Dhupia immediately teased him about whether their old connection was beginning again.
Karishma clarified that she was simply complimenting him and later announced that she would be joining the OG gang on the show.
The playful exchange led to multiple edits of Prince and Karishma appearing across social media, but Prince has now asked fans not to turn the old Splitsvilla connection into something it was not. His message stressed that he is happily married and wants viewers to respect that while revisiting moments from his reality television past.
