Munawar said Mallika pretended to be dumb on the show.
The Traitors just had their reunion, and Mallika Sherawat’s argument with Munawar Faruqui has caught everyone’s attention. Host Karan Johar played a clip featuring Mallika’s hot takes about every contestant. He then quizzed Munawar about saying that Mallika was playing dumb on the show.
Munawar Calls Mallika Fake
Munawar noted that Mallika had accepted that she was putting on a “fake” persona for the show. He said Mallika is a very intelligent and worldly woman who was pretending to be “dumb” on the show. Mallika quipped, “Munawar ne toh mujhpe PhD kar rakhi hai, haina?” Munawar joked that he is not educated enough.
Mallika Slams Munawar’s ‘Misogynistic’ Comment
Mallika said, “Pehle Circle of Shaq main Munawar couldn’t handle my calm nervous system. Mujhe kya pata tha to be calm is also a crime in this game. ‘Aise lagta hai ki jaise aap drugs par hain,’ yeh bola gaya hai mujhe Circle of Shaq main jo mujhe bohot hi bura laga, misogynistic comment. Aap mere gameplay pe comment kijiye…”
She added, “Aapko pura haq hai mujhpe shaq karne ka. Lekin yeh bolna ki aap drugs par hain, and if you cannot understand my calm nervous system, being calm ab crime ho gaya. ‘Yeh toh aapka comeback hai,’ this game is not about a comeback. That’s not the spirit of this game.”
Karan Johar Called Out Mallika For ‘Comeback’ Comment On Rhea Chakraborty
Karan pointed out that Mallika had made a similar comment about Rhea Chakraborty. Karan called her comment “below the belt” and said, “Struggling inside, what she has gone through, as opposed to anybody else’s struggles here, I have to say, is very different… What happened with her at a very tough time is not something that anyone humane would talk about.”
Mallika revealed she had later apologised to Rhea. Interestingly, Rhea and Parul Gulati were not present for the reunion.
