X user Amutha Bharathi praised the first half and said the film is more than a regular commercial entertainer. Kollywood Wire was equally enthusiastic about the film, calling it “peak stuff” and praising director Nahas Hidhayath and composer Jakes Bejoy. The account also referred to the reported scale of the film’s production.

Malayalam Review called the first half very good and highlighted the interval sequence, production value and fantasy portions. Dulquer Salmaan Returns To Malayalam Cinema

I’m Game marks Dulquer Salmaan’s return to Malayalam cinema and is his 40th film. The film was initially scheduled for an August 20 release but was postponed to September 3 to allow for a pan-India theatrical release. It is being released in five languages.

The film is directed by Nahas Hidhayath, who previously made RDX and stars Dulquer alongside Kayadu Lohar, Mysskin, Antony Varghese, Samyuktha Viswanathan, Vinay Forrt and Kathir. Jakes Bejoy has composed the music and background score.
