Punjabi singer Parmish Verma has confirmed that he and his wife, Geet Grewal, also known as Guneet Grewal, have parted ways after five years of marriage. The development comes months after speculation about trouble in their relationship first surfaced in January 2026.
Parmish and Geet had dated for several years before getting married in Canada on October 20, 2021. The couple became parents to their daughter, Sadaa, on September 30, 2022. Following the confirmation of their divorce, attention has once again turned to Geet, who has largely maintained a life away from Parmish’s entertainment career.

Guneet contested from the Mission-Matsqui-Fraser Canyon constituency in British Columbia. She, however, lost the election to Conservative Party candidate Brad Vis.

Guneet studied law in the United Kingdom. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Leicester before pursuing a Master’s degree in Law at Queen Mary University of London.

According to her campaign profile, Guneet is the daughter of Indian immigrants. Her parents initially worked in cleaning and construction as they sought to build a better future and create opportunities for their children.
The family subsequently became prominent members of their community. They were also involved in constructing and managing several developments, including Abbotsford’s Summit Centre.

Parmish and Guneet kept their relationship away from the spotlight for years before the singer publicly acknowledged it in 2021.
Parmish made their relationship Instagram official in August that year while extending his support to Guneet during her political campaign. Two months later, the singer announced that they were engaged.
Sharing a photograph from their engagement ceremony, Parmish wrote, “The beginning of forever- P&G.”
The couple tied the knot on October 20, 2021, in a grand ceremony held in Canada. Nearly a year after their wedding, Parmish and Guneet welcomed their daughter Sadaa on September 30, 2022.
Divorce Confirmation Comes After Months Of Speculation
Rumours about problems in Parmish and Guneet’s marriage began circulating in early January 2026. Their separation has now been confirmed by Parmish, five years after the couple got married.
The development has also arrived amid online discussion about Parmish’s reported relationship with actress and model Harman Brar. The singer has faced trolling over the dating rumours, which gathered momentum after cosy videos featuring Parmish and Harman went viral.
