Rashmika added that Vijay also massages her hands and feet.

Rashmika and Vijay have been married for about a year now.
Rashmika Mandanna has opened up about how her husband and actor Vijay Deverakonda takes care of her during her periods. Rashmika said that although Vijay has never had a conversation about menstruation at home, he is very understanding of her pain and helps her by massaging her hands and feet.
Rashmika told Midday, “He knows where I’m coming from and why I’m feeling things a certain way. I’m also a very vocal person. If I feel low for no reason, I’ll tell him, ‘Listen, my period is starting in a few days, and I just need you to be with me.’ I’ll already give him a sort of an intimation.”
The actress also added, “You can’t expect more, being a man. It’s not like they can take the uterus out. But it’s comforting to know he’s there. He gives me tummy rubs and presses my hand and feet because he’s like, ‘That’s all I can do.'”
Rashmika and Vijay’s relationship has been making headlines lately after their appearance on Koffee With Karan 9. Among the many revelations, the couple also revealed that Vijay told Rashmika to ask him to marry her 100 times. Vijay said, “She was like, ‘Let’s get married.’ I was like, ‘Okay, you have asked me 100 times.'”
Rashmika said, “I asked him for an entire year.” Vijay followed up with, “I am not an a**hole.” The actor explained that he wanted to test the relationship through tough times and mundane days, and see if Rashmika still wanted to marry him with the same love.
Meanwhile, on the work front, the couple is now seen in Ranabaali. “Ranabaali attempts to bring a disturbing chapter of colonial history to the big screen using the Great Madras Famine of 1876-78 as the backdrop for a tale of resistance, survival and revenge… Set against the devastation of famine-stricken Rayalaseema, the film follows Singanamala Bobbili Ranabaali, a warrior. As starvation spreads and resources are extracted from a population already pushed to the brink, his personal anger evolves into a larger fight against the British administration,” News18’s review reads.
News18 gave the film 2.5 stars. “Ultimately, Ranabaali’s a film whose ambitions are more impressive than its execution. An overreliance on graphic violence, some underdeveloped characters and a lack of nuance in exploring its political themes prevent it from achieving the impact it seeks. Instead, it remains an ambitious but uneven film that has something important to say, even if it does not always know how best to say it,” our review mentioned.
