Akshara Singh Slams Fan For Disrespecting Women At Patna Event
Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh is known for speaking her mind. She was recently invited to perform at an event in Patna, Bihar, where she schooled a man for disrespecting women. However, she softened a bit when the fan realised his mistake and apologised to Akshara after which she said, “I love you for that. Aapne galti maani, I love you.”
During the event, Akshara reprimanded the man saying, “Thoda sa lakheragiri karo, achi baat hai. Lekin khir-khirgiri mat karo. Usko thethrayi bolte hain apne Patna mein. The actress said that she was familiar with the term ‘thethrayi’ (stubbornness) since she belongs to Patna herself.
Akshara further said, “Ye kar ke jo ja rahe ho, ye acha baat nahi hai. Aapke hi ghar ki ladki hoon na main. Acha lagega is tareeke se karte hue. Ye jo pure Bihar mein idhar udhar jo news mein dekhne ko mil raha hai, ladkiyon ko aaplog Jaleel karte hain. Sharam nahi aati aaplogon ko?”
Akshara also pointed to Gen Z, saying that young people today know how to respect women. She urged the attendee to take a cue from others at the event who were treating her respectfully. When he admitted his mistake, the actress softened her tone and said, “Thankyou, now I love you. Aise hi rakho yaar, Bihar ka naam roshan karo.” She also appreciated him for accepting his fault.

On the work front, Akshara Singh released a new devotional song titled Durga Maiya Se Seekh Na Dhool Chatawe Ke. She made her acting debut opposite Ravi Kishan in the 2010 action drama Satyamev Jayate. She subsequently appeared in 2011 family drama Pran Jaye Par Vachan Na Jaye.
