Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming romantic drama Aakasamlo Oka Tara is gearing up for its theatrical release on November 20, 2026. Ahead of the release, the makers have unveiled a 1-minute-51-second teaser that introduces the film’s central characters and its story of ambition, perseverance and support.
Written and directed by Pavan Sadineni, the film stars Dulquer as Krishna, while debutant Satvika Veeravalli plays Ammulu, a young woman from a remote village who dreams of becoming an astronaut. Shruti Haasan also features in a key role.
Satvika Veeravalli’s Ammulu Dreams Of Becoming An Astronaut
The teaser opens up the world of Ammulu, a studious and ambitious young woman who wants a life far removed from what her circumstances seem to have decided for her.
Coming from an underprivileged rural background, Ammulu dreams of becoming an astronaut. Her ambition, however, is met with resistance from the people around her.
The teaser shows her facing discouragement and pressure from her family, who want her to abandon her unconventional aspirations and settle for a more traditional life.
Despite that opposition, Ammulu refuses to give up on what she wants. Her determination to reach beyond the limitations placed before her forms the central conflict of the story.
Dulquer Salmaan’s Krishna Becomes Ammulu’s Support System
Things begin to change after Krishna, played by Dulquer Salmaan, enters Ammulu’s life.
The teaser presents Krishna as someone who takes her dreams seriously and becomes a source of encouragement when she finds little support elsewhere.
Rather than asking Ammulu to adjust her ambitions to suit her surroundings, Krishna stands by her as she tries to pursue them.
The film follows how their relationship develops alongside Ammulu’s struggle to become an astronaut, with the teaser moving between her personal ambitions, the pressure she faces at home and Krishna’s presence in her journey.
Aakasamlo Oka Tara is positioned as a romantic feel-good drama built around Ammulu’s efforts to challenge the expectations surrounding her and pursue a goal that appears far beyond her immediate circumstances.
Shruti Haasan Plays A Key Role
Apart from Dulquer and Satvika, the film also stars Shruti Haasan in an important role, though the teaser and accompanying details do not reveal much about her character yet.
Pavan Sadineni has written and directed the film, while GV Prakash Kumar has composed its music and background score.
The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on November 20, 2026.
